Kindness is contagious.

Have you ever just had a low down rotten day, and you thought how can this day get any worse, but someone lightened your heart with sweet words that spoke to you so softly, and all of a sudden your day was so much better. What you needed was encouragement.

People everywhere need encouragement and wonderful words spoken to them, be that person to make someone's day better. You don't have to do much, but give a compliment, tell them how much you love their hairstyles, shoes, shirt, or compliment them about their qualities. If you are in the grocery store, smile at people, be nice and tell them to have a great or fabulous day! You could make an impact everywhere you go. It will also help you have a better day.

Love others just as Christ loves you, he loves us despite our faults and failures. He has given us life and life more abundantly. He gives us the opportunity to wake up everyday and make the most out of the lives he has given us. Shine your light for Jesus Christ, tell people of his love and how he has changed and transformed your life for the better.

Kindness is contagious, so spread that stuff around like germs. :-) Hug your family, and tell them how much you adore each and everyone of them.

I love movies....

This weekend has been such a blast! Saturday my best friend and I went shopping and went to the movie theater. We saw, "Man of Steel" it was so action packed, and a little kissy scene in there as well for us ladies, because lets face it, Henry Caville is so handsome, we all wanted to be Lois Lane. If you decide to go see it, you will not be disappointed, there is a little of everything in there for the dudes and gals. So get your popcorn, and take friend to the movies this week and have fun! :-)

Gods word, unity and fun!

Yesterday I gathered with the youth group of the church I attend, along with the pastor and his wife, and we had youth service. We had such a wonderful time, first we had our lesson on "Transformation" we talked about how the Lord transformed men like Moses and Paul into great men of God, and how God wants to transform us as well. Afterward, we went outside and played basketball, and volleyball, we had such a great turn out. We had just a handful of kids and teens there, but we still had fun. We ate our scrumptious Italian sub sandwiches and had more fellowship. Not long after we ate, we were back outside in the humidity playing basketball, we had a game going on for the rest of the night. I couldn't help but think about the unity I felt there last night between everyone. There was a smile on every face, and laughter everywhere. That's how things should be, everyone should be able to gather together in Jesus name, and have unity and genuine love for one another. There shouldn't be any division. The enemy would love for us to fight and be terrible to one another, but God has greater plans for us. He wants us to be unified together for the work of the kingdom of heaven. If you feel like you and your friends or youth group aren't unified, be the change and make the difference, pray that God would use you to bring people together and have fun together and worship the Lord Jesus together. So fill in that great divide with love, happiness, and fellowship. That's how souls will be reached. Be the change. :-)

Gatlinburg Count down!

I leave for Gatlinburg, Tn in one week! I am so excited! I plan on taking lots of pictures, eating lots of yummy foods, and most of all creating beautiful memories with my closest friends.

When I am there, I will upload pictures of the places I ate at, or shopped at, to give you all suggestions of what to do if you decide to go to Gatlinburg.

I can't wait! My friends and I have started a count down. They text me everyday with the amount of time we have before we leave.

I still need to get our road trip snacks, fun games, and also the prank necessities. I will blog later about MUST HAVE road trip snacks.

Have a FANTASTIC DAY! Hug your family and tell them what they mean to you, because no one is promised tomorrow. :-)

How to start your day off right....

When you get up in the morning, are you grumpy and greet your family with a shrug or a nod of the head? That's no way to start your day off right.

When you wake up in the morning, before you ever get out of bed, tell yourself you are going to have a great day and your gonna put a smile on someone's face, and you will see a big difference in your outlook of the everyday routine.

What I do in the morning: I wake up, greet my two little dachshunds, Lucy and Kimber, they greet me right back with their cute wagging tails. I go to the bathroom to wash my face, then I get some breakfast. After I've finished with my breakfast I go to the word of God, and search the scriptures, I try to read a chapter every morning. The word of God is a light to our path, and it will guide us and help us make right decisions everyday. God will give us direction, love, kindness and the joy we need to live a fulfilling life. Prayer should be something we do before we ever leave the house for the day, communication with Jesus Christ is so special and life changing. He will make your outlook on your day so much greater, because even if you have piles of laundry to wash, floors that need vacuumed, paper work that needs to be worked on, or errands that need to be ran with Jesus, you can do it all with a happy and willing heart.

"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice and sing praise." Psalm 98:4

My sister found this great after sun lotion, that moisturizes and smells good enough to eat. Its by "Hawaiian Tropic"

I have used this several times already this summer, and I'm very impressed at how light, clean, and moisturized my skin feels afterward. Must buy product. I give it a 10.

Busy, Busy, Busy

Ok, Guys, I know I haven't written in a while, I've been very busy. But hopefully from now on I can keep everyone up to speed with things, I am currently teaching youth service at the church I attend, and I am a college student. I have most definitely been a busy bee. I will be blogging about my trip to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge next week, so be ready for an abundance of pictures and info about the best places to eat. Love from your gal Kiersten. :-)
