A dream is a wish..your heart makes.

Have you ever had the passion to do something with all of your heart?

Has it been on your mind every waking moment of the day?

You want to get started on your dream, but there are things in the way, or you feel like you aren't equipped to do what you really want.

I struggle with the same thing.

I have HUGE dreams.

And I struggle everyday with how I am going to accomplish them, and it seems like there is always something else for me to do like: going to the gym, making dinner, cleaning or getting distracted.

I have decided I am going to take ahold of my dreams, and not let anything or anyone hinder me from getting them accomplished.

My dream is to finish writing my novel, and get published.

So if I have to write every moment of the day, and keep getting inspired, then I will do it.

Writing is one of my passions, out of many, and it is most of the reason I wanted to start this blog.

I want to inspire people, and get their minds rolling with ideas, hopes and fill their hearts with dreams.

I want to make someone who feels so insignificant and unimportant that they are special and have a place in this world and most importantly in Gods heart.

I have felt insignificant for most of my life, an it isn't something g I want anyone else to feel. I want my writing to be someone's comfort, and something they can read to let their worries go for a while. I want my writing to be adventurous, romantic, fun and freeing.

So this day and this moment, I'm going to keep on keeping on, I am going to continue to write, continue to pray, and continue to dream.

My God can and has promised me the desires of my heart.

I just want to make a difference in this world today.

Follow your dreams, and pray to God for guidance. No dream is too big, or too small.

Kiersty

The cozy days are a-comin'

Fall, Autumn, Cuddling weather, whatever you call it, it's here!

Fall is my favorite season of all, because of the beautiful colors the leaves turn, the brisk chill in the air, and not to mention pumpkin spice lattes.

There are so many things about fall that I couldn't possibly list in this blog right now, but let's just say it's an amazing cozy season.

Around this time of year my brain goes crazy about the fashion for fall. The boots, sweaters, scarves and plaid button down shirts.

I have been searching and searching for the perfect boots for fall. These boots are short and laced up, these are better for bigger calf muscles and playing in the leaves, or just a casual stroll down the street. I LOVE the brownish camel color.
These will be my fall must haves this year, gotta find them. Pinterest is a really good search engine for things you are interested in buying, just type what you're looking for in the search bar, and scroll until you find what you're looking for, and most likely it will lead you to the website you can find them at.

Scarves are another fall must have of mine, especially in mustard, chocolate, black and grey colors. You can pair a thin or chunky wool scarve with just about any outfit, and it makes the outfit itself complete and adorable. And if you don't know exactly how to tie your scarf, you can search either youtube or Pinterest and videos or pictures may help you.
It's very easy to do.

Here's another must have for fall and every fall, CARAMEL APPLES!

Who doesn't love caramel apples? The yummy gooey-ness of the caramel and hard crunch of the apple is positively heaven.

(P.s. I will write a blog on how to make homemade caramel apples soon, stay tuned)

Last but not least, my fall must have is hot beverages. Any hot drink this fall and winter will do. My personal favorites are salted caramel mocha and frapp (frapps are cold, btw) pumpkin spice latte, and hot chocolate.

The first three drinks I listed are from Starbucks and are absolutely amazing!!

I look for the salted caramel frapp every fall season because it's so mind blowingly tasty.

So next time you're out and about just slide by your local barista and grab some fall in a cup.

And if you're home and want to save money but still want a great tasting hot beverage, check out food networks website for amazing hot cocoa recipes.

So that's it folks, my fall must haves!!

I will post pics of my buys when I buy them!!

Happy Fallness!!

My Old Kentucky Home

The picture above is part of the drive to my grandparents house on one of the back roads of Kentucky, and it's quite breath taking.

I will never regret growing up in Kentucky. Kentucky usually gets a bad rep and has developed  a lot of rumors over time of how we are country bumpkins that aren't educated and marry our cousins. I'm not saying those characteristics aren't true for some people, but they shouldn't define my beautiful state.

As a little girl growing up in Kentucky, I've enjoyed weekend getaways to Nolin Lake, four wheeler riding, fishing with my Papaw, and learning how to cook from my Nana, and it was the best experience.

Growing up here has made me into the woman I am today.

So, if you're reading this and have never visited my beautiful state, I am inviting you.

Come enjoy the bluegrass state all while sipping on some sweet tea and eating the best fried chicken you've ever tasted.

We have lakes, rivers, creeks and streams.

We also have barns, corn fields, gravel roads, and good food.

So, come by and say hi.
